Youth Mission Trip
The youth this year will be heading to Milwaukee, WI to work with local non-profits during the day and worship at night. The mission trip takes place from June 23rd-June 28th and is available for 6th-12th grade students. About Milwaukee: Milwaukee is a place of potential, but also experiences trouble with segregation, racial oppression, teen pregnancy, and unemployment. While in Milwaukee, youth may build ramps for folks with disabilities, help beautify the city with landscaping or meet city needs with relational outreach. About the Program: The youth of ERUMC will be participating in Next Step Ministries, a non-profit short term mission group. They partner with local community non-profits to strive for a mission trip experience that empowers a community and creates sustainable and positive growth. During the evening, Next Step Ministries provide worship and engaging programming for youth.
