Bread Oven Ministry
The rich history of bread ovens date back to 1800's Europe where bread ovens were the centerpiece of a village. During the week, the oven would be fired up and people would bring their bread dough to be baked. While soaking in the sweet aroma of fresh baked bread, the villagers would chat with each other. The bread was for the body and the community conversation was for the soul.
At ERUMC we are excited about the traditional style brick oven build in 2021. We enjoy a new way of reaching each other and the community, loving our neighbors with every loaf. ERUMC hosts community pizza events, bread classes, and fundraisers.
