How does a Jacob's ladder work and why is it called that? What would it be like to walk on water? How easy is it for a house on sand to fall? Anyone can be a scientist as we seek to learn both Biblical life lessons and engage in a science experiment related to the story. Classes are from 5:30 pm-6:15 pm most Wednesdays. Meals are available from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm with a nursery available at 5:30 pm for younger kids. Caring adults can stay on site (Adult studies coming soon), have quiet time, or run errands* while the kids participate. *Additional paperwork is needed if caring adults will be offsite. |
Nothing beats the taste and smell of freshly baked bread. Saturday, October 14th, you are invited to bake bread--for a purpose. From raw flour, to forming loaves, and finally baking in a wood fired brick oven--you'll get to do it all. This event will include ciabatta and a rustic bread. No experience is required. All participants will take home bread with them. The remaining loaves are available for purchase with all funds being donated to a cause. |
