Missions

The people of Elk River United Methodist Church respond to the call to love God and neighbor and heal a broken world. ERUMC has teams and individuals that support missions in different ways. ERUMC supports nonprofit groups on an ongoing basis and organizes occasional or special events and service that may change from year to year.

You are invited to answer God's call to heal a broken world. The Midwest Missions Distribution Center is a logistical hub for humanitarian and educational outreach. Work may include refurbishing desks, bicycles, or sewing machines or assembling kits for hygiene or more. 
The fall mission trip is for ages 11+ (youth must attend with an adult) in Illinois October 13-17, 2024. Sign up below to get more information or attend an info session on February 18th. Final registration is due in March of 2024. 

Ongoing Missions
ERUMC has scheduled involvement in the following throughout the year: 
-Meals on Wheels
-Red Cross Blood Mobile
-Community Action Elk River (CAER)
-Winter clothing drive

Special Events
ERUMC serves as needed or for special events in the following ways and more:
-Feed My Starving Children
-Service crews in ER and surrounding areas
-Sewing Diapers for Midwest Mission Distribution Center
-Mission trips at home and abroad
-Mission support for Solar Oven Partners
-Gas card drives for GRFP
-Financial support for disaster relief
