Sunday School Begins September 15th
Together with their families, kids will start in worship at 9:30 am and are invited to Sunday School after kids’ time. Caring adults will join at 10:40 for a recap and dismissal. The curriculum this year is Spark, Activate Faith. Contact Amber with questions: youth@elkriverumc.org or 763-441-2750 
Bible STEM Nights
Learn love and lessons from the Bible, play, build, create and experiment! Bible STEM nights are a great way to explore the Bible in a new way. Bible STEM is best for kids grades 2 and up, however, K/1 students are welcome and have fun (they are provided extra help or paired with an older student). The Fall/Winter sessions begin on September 18, and will end on December 11th. NOT meeting the week of MEA or Thanksgiving Bonus: dinner is provided on Wednesday evenings starting at 5:00 pm. A support group to help you through the grief process. A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. You can join the class anytime, even if you have not been to previous sessions.

"The Chosen" Women's Bible Study
All women are invited to a Tuesday night Bible study featuring "The Chosen" season 4. You do not need to have participated in the previous sessions to join this group. The sessions will be held Tuesdays from 6:00pm-7:30 pm beginning September 17, 2024. All sessions are held in the fireside room at Elk River United Methodist, 1304 Main Street, Elk River, MN.
